On January 27, 2024, the Emerson Swim Team competed in the UIL District 10-5A Championships. The team faced multiple schools from the Frisco ISD. As a team, the boys scored a total of 26 points, and the girls scored 6 points. With the addition of new swimmers this year, the Emerson Swim Team qualified for more events at the regional level compared to last year. This year, the team made it to regionals in the boys’ 200-yard medley relay, the boys’ 200-yard freestyle relay, and the girls’ 200-yard freestyle relay. Furthermore, sophomore Sato Eduardo qualified in the 100-yard backstroke.
