This soccer season was a memorable one for our senior soccer athletes as they approach the end of their high school career. Both the girl’s and boys’ teams worked extremely hard this year, resulting in an amazing season and memories they will carry with them for a lifetime.
Senior Sophie Fernandes talks about her team’s hard work and dedication this season.
“I think we tried super hard this season and we definitely improved a lot,” Fernandes said. “I think our work over the summer and off-season showed in how we played.”
Senior Amir Ferris says that he will cherish the bonds he built with his teammates.
“My favorite memory is our very first game at Emerson during my sophomore year when I scored three goals and ended on a win making it 5-0,” Ferris said.
The soccer coaches are incredibly proud of their soccer seniors and will miss all that they contributed to the team.
“Each of the seniors all have different personalities but they all brought so much fun to our team,” said Girls Soccer Coach Chelsea Graham. “They’re all really great leaders so I think we’ll all miss that from them.”
