Emerson high school choir competed at the Madrigal Festival on Feb. 22 at Messiah Lutheran Church. Two groups competed which was the mixed choir and treble group. This was a highly competitive event as the choir was competing against about 65 other schools. Regardless of the fierce competition both groups received Division one ratings which is the highest rating a choir can receive, they also received a Performance of Distinction noting a top ten performance at the competition.
