Senior Field Day was on Friday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. on the Emerson football field. Senior Field Day was a memorable celebration for the seniors, providing them a chance to wind down, have fun and enjoy one last day of being together as seniors before graduation.

“Senior students [got] to hang out with their friends and play competitive games held at multiple stations,” Senior Class Delegate Shriyaa Vijay said. “We [also had] inflatables and ice cream and popsicles. The activities that are being executed are the kind that we used to play in elementary school, so they will be sort of reminiscent of our childhood.”
The planning process behind Senior Field Day was thorough and meticulously executed, with a great input of orderly coordination and attention to detail.
“We have been planning this for around a month,” Vijay said. “It was a little challenging because we have not had many senior field days to go off of. We are taking into account what happened at last year’s field day and improving upon that. The planning process was extensive but it will be all worth it.”
To build excitement and encourage attendance, Leadership members prioritize the needs and interests of students to ensure a memorable experience.
“Personally, I have been asking people’s input on ideas we have right now, what set up they think would be fun, and what games they want to see,” Senior Class Delegate Cooper Soliz said. “In addition, other students in Leadership have also generated great ideas that [were] being carried out on field day.”
As Senior Field Day symbolizes the end of senior year, Soliz shares what he hopes students will treasure most from this event.
“I hope they remember the memories they make with the people around them and feel like they have accomplished a lot from these last four years and are finally able to set free,” Soliz said.
