Voting opens for 2024-2025 Maverick Leadership student office positions

Voting for Maverick Leadership officers opens March 27 and closes March 29. Maverick Leadership organizes everything from prom to pep rallies, and serves as a voice for students at Emerson. Voting in these elections ensures the majority of the student body has a say in who represents them throughout the year. Positions include co-presidents of tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade, student body presidents, secretary, historian, directors of design and publicity, and directors of pep and spirit.

Vote for candidates on voting4schools.com by Saturday at 6:00.

Isabelle Smith
Isabelle Smith, Unbranded Executive Producer/ The Charge Staff Photographer
Isabelle is a senior at Emerson and currently serves as the Executive Producer for EHS Unbranded and the Website Manager and Public Relations for the Charge. This is Isabelle's third year with the Unbranded and second year with the Charge. Isabelle has loved journalism since middle school,  joining her middle school broadcast team in 8th grade and never stopping since. She was a lead producer for Independence's Knight TV for one year and has been an Executive producer for Unbranded Broadcast for three. She also works for and produces content for the Frisco ISD sports broadcast program. She is involved in pageantry and currently serves as Miss Collin County's Teen 2024, and has founded a mental health education platform. She aspires to go to school and study broadcast journalism.
