Welcome back to the Unbranded!

Bryce Holland anchors this special Halloween edition of the Unbranded! On today’s show, Giovanni Cameau highlights Inktober, Iksha Kesari, Daniel Miller, and Joshua Slate cover Emerson’s Halloween events, Janelle Nelson and Fernando Brea host a mummy wrapping contest for Mavs in the Hallway, and Cameron Johnson and Katelyn Kennedy highlight the PALs program.

Bryce Holland, Unbranded Associate Producer

Bryce Holland is a junior at Emerson high school and he serves as the Associate Producer for the Unbranded. This is his second year with the Unbranded as he likes working in media and sports. He is also in the sports broadcasting program at the CTE. Bryce chose to join the Unbranded because of his love for sports and broadcasting.

Giovanni Cameau-Vera, The Charge Secretary & Unbranded Staff Reporter

Giovanni Cameau-Vera is a senior at Emerson High School, serving as a staff member for The Unbranded and Secretary for The Charge. Throughout his time with Unbranded Media, Giovanni has developed a strong appreciation for photography and capturing moments through his camera. Outside the studio, Giovanni can be found at football games, theatre stages, or at community events—usually with a camera in hand. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre/Theory with a minor in Journalism and continue building his photography career. He’s incredibly grateful to Mrs. Tolar and Unbranded Media for the opportunities, support, and inspiration they’ve provided throughout his high school journey.

Grace Torres, Unbranded Co-Secretary

Grace Torres is a senior at Emerson High School and serves as Co-Secretary for The Unbranded. This marks her first official year with the team, where she’s eager to sharpen her videography skills and build meaningful connections. Beyond The Unbranded, Grace enjoys playing guitar, singing, tennis, and participating in debate. After graduation, she plans to pursue a pre-law track, majoring in criminal justice, with the goal of attending law school. She is committed to working hard to become a criminal prosecutor, driven by her passion for justice and advocacy.

Iksha Kesari, Unbranded Co-Secretary

Iksha Kesari is a senior at Emerson High School, and she serves as the Co-Secretary for The Unbranded. This is her first year on The Unbranded, and she is excited to bring new ideas to the table and improve on her videography skillset. She can’t wait to elevate the social media page for The Unbranded while collaborating with the staff reporters to produce amazing content. In her free time, Iksha enjoys creating vlogs and playing board games with friends. In the future, she wants to continue making short films while pursuing a career in the legal field.

Daniel Miller, Unbranded Staff Reporter

Daniel Miller is a sophomore at Emerson High School and he serves as an Unbranded Staff Reporter. This is Daniel’s first year on the Unbranded, he is very excited and can’t wait to work on the Unbranded team. He likes doing entertainment and making people laugh, he also quite a big fan of sports. His hobbies consist of working out, sleeping, and hanging out with his friends. Daniel wishes to pursue and continue staff reporting for the Unbranded in the future.

Joshua Slate, Unbranded Staff Reporter

Joshua Slate is a freshman at Emerson High School and a dedicated Staff Reporter for The Unbranded. He brings a diverse background in media production, having served as assistant director on multiple film sets and gained hands-on experience with high-end RED cameras. Joshua also has a solid foundation in journalism, reporting for Scoggins Middle School, and has contributed to advertising efforts for the startup company Castaway. He is best known for his original film, House of Hobbies, which was proudly accepted into the Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF). Beyond his media work, Joshua is an avid musician, playing the double bass with the Emerson Chamber Orchestra and the Greater North Texas Youth Orchestra Young Artists group. In his free time, he enjoys staying active by going to the gym and shooting hoops.

Janelle Nelson, Unbranded Executive Producer

Destiny “Janelle” Nelson is a Junior at Emerson High School and she serves as the Executive Producer The Unbranded. This is her second year with The Unbranded, but her fourth year as a news reporter. She has always had a passion for connecting with her community and sharing people’s stories. She aspires to pursue a professional career in Broadcast Journalism. She is a big fan of all things media and when she’s not working on the next Unbranded show, you’ll find her watching the latest movies.

Fernando Brea, Unbranded Staff Reporter

Fernando Brea is a Junior at Emerson High School and he is an unbranded staff reporter. He has experience making short films, but wants to get even better. He enjoys working with cameras and filming and entertainment. Also a member of the varsity wrestling team, Fernando wants to bring more spotlight to his sport. Outside of school he loves to hang out with his friends, girlfriend and family, and exercise. In the future Fernando wishes to be either a filmmaker or an animator

Cameron Johnson, Unbranded Staff Reporter

Cameron is a junior at Emerson High School and he serves as a Staff Reporter for The Unbranded! This is Cameron’s first year with the team, and he super excited to bring fun, loving, fresh ideas to the table! Cameron joined The Unbranded because he loves filmmaking, camera presence, and connecting with people everywhere! Outside of The Unbranded, Cameron is involved in Choir, Theater, Leadership and as a hobby he loves to make high quality films with his best friend Dylan on their youtube channel Dam Vlogs! Cameron is SO ready to begin this amazing work!

Katelyn Kennedy, Unbranded Staff Reporter

Katelyn Kennedy (KK) is a junior at Emerson High School and works as a Staff Reporter for the Unbranded. It’s her first year in the Unbranded, and she can’t wait to be a part of the magic! KK has a love for film and animation and a passion for storytelling. She’s in varsity theater, and is an officer for her theater ITS club. The arts are a central part of her life; from theater to choir, she loves to perform. She also enjoys teaching and is an intern in the kids ministry at her church.
